NEER also maintains a Register of Network Participants

Eligibility criteria for individual participants:

Academic staff, postgraduate students, and administrative and general staff from Australian/New Zealand universities
Independent scholars resident in Australia or New Zealand
Staff in industry and community partner institutions

Entitlements of individual participants:

May apply for grants and subsidies from NEER programmes
May participate in the e-Consult scheme
May have a personal account on the NEER Confluence collaborative Web site
May submit their work to the NEER digital repository (PioNEER)
May nominate for representative positions on the Management Committee
May nominate for positions on other advisory bodies established by NEER
May apply for access to commercial databases funded by NEER
May attend NEER activities and events which are not open to the public

Obligations of individual participants:

Must register their names in the NEER participants register
Must be willing to include their names in the NEER participants mailing list

The NEER Register of Network Participants also includes the names of international researchers who have an interest in NEER's activities and are willing to provide advice and input on request.

The Register of Network Participants is current as at October 2008. Copies of the September 2005 Register, the March 2006 Register, the March 2007 Register and the March 2008 Register are also available as an archival record.

How to join NEER

Individual researchers who are interested in becoming a NEER participant should contact the Network's Administrative Assistant, Ms Pam Bond.
