Postgraduates and Early Career Researchers

The Network strongly encourages participation by postgraduates and early career researchers.

The following Network programmes are designed specifically for postgraduates and early career researchers:

Postgraduate Advanced Training Seminars (PATS)
Subsidies for Attending Network Events
E-Consult Scheme
Voyager Postgraduate Research Award
NEER/Brepols Internships: to work on editing and revising electronic publications from Brepols NV, a leading European publishing firm. Applications for 2007 have been considered and two intersnhips have been awarded, to Roza Faunce (University of Melbourne) and Alicia Marchant (Universiteit Gent / University of Western Australia).
NEER/Brepols work placements for students in medieval studies. Brepols publishers has employed two NEER postgraduate students (Guy Carney, Univeristy of Adelaide, in 2007 and Maria O'Dwyer, University of Melbourne, in 2008) to assist the Brepols Publishing Manager responsible for English-language publications in Medieval and Renaissance Studies. The call for 2008/2009 work placements has now closed.

Postgraduates and early career researchers have their own collaborative work space in the NEER Confluence Web site.
